Megan, BA (HONS), MA, Co-Active Coach, moved back to Scotland in 2017, after spending seven years in Vancouver, Canada. During that time, she played a key leadership role in a rapidly expanding consultancy which served SMEs across the country. Her work with 150+ decision makers and influencers, coupled with her experience in growing a small business, led to a keen interest in developing leaders and teams in smaller firms. Prior to this position she worked in higher education, and with a national non-profit that empowered female entrepreneurs.
She trained as a coach with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the emotional intelligence tool EQ-i 2.0. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and SME leaders to become more effective and emotionally intelligent.
In her spare time, Megan has been a long-term volunteer at a Crisis Centre where she trained incoming volunteers in active listening, empathy and crisis de-escalation. She speaks three languages, loves cross-cultural travel, and has spent half her life living outside Scotland, including in Europe, Latin America and North America.
